Lunch & Learn: Facebook Ads Strategies With Chris Abbott

Everyone loves using Facebook for church communications.

Facebook Pages, Facebook Groups, Facebook Events. . . and Facebook Live.

Yes, Ads.  Are you using Facebook Ads for your church?

Did you know that Facebook advertising is one of the most efficient paid advertising vehicles available right now? You can get a better reach and lower costs then Google AdWords or other paper click networks out there.

But most people are either afraid of it, or don’t have much experience with it.

The best part though is that you don’t need to know a lot, or even have a large budget before you should be testing the waters with Facebook ads.

Right now, we are several weeks away from Easter. And this is the perfect time for you to get started with Facebook ads.

I recently connected with Chris Abbott from Guts Church who is knocking it out of the park with Facebook ads. He shared some basic tips and strategies for churches that want to start promoting online via Facebook. We talked about the case example for using Easter as an excuse to get started too.

I’m quite interested to learn if you’re using Facebook ads right now. And I’m talking beyond the Facebook boost feature for selected posts.

Let me know in the comments and even drop a question or two so we can help get you started on the journey.

  1. Great resources. I am a church planter in Bozeman Montana. We are using a google ad campaign to reach thousands of people with the good news. We are launching our online church soon, and developing an incredible social media outreach. I just found you and so excited about what you are doing. Thanks http://www.Newthingonline.com
