Your best opportunities lie ahead of whatever you might be facing right now. BUT you must do your part.
Right now, you need to just roll up your sleeves and put in the work of building expertise in your craft.
Know your boundaries and position. Have integrity in how you represent yourself and in what you offer.
That means do not try to acquire visibility and influence before you acquire deep experience and wisdom.
Visibility without expertise shallowness.
Influence without wisdom is foolishness.
The world either immediately or eventually sees through shallow fools.
Just because you can Google it doesn’t mean you have mastered it. If simple knowledge was valuable, Alexa, Siri and Google would replace you.
There will be enough golden opportunities ahead. . . IF you stop letting FOMO drive you and instead invest in a stronger foundation for the future.
Don’t aspire to be an influencer. Work to become an expert advisor.
